Activities

There is plenty to do at Lake Cushman Resort.
Activities include:
*Clicking on any photo
displays it full size for easier viewing.
Fishing:
Whether you are a seasoned sportster or fishing for the first
time, Lake Cushman offers a variety of fishing experiences for you and
your family. Drop your line off the Resort dock to catch
the abundant Kokanee, Rainbow &
Cutthroat Trout, or troll the lake waters for the elusive Landlocked
Chinook Salmon. Fishing licenses are
available at Hood Canal Outfitters in Hoodsport. Bait and tackle are available in the Resort store.
Lake Cushman is open year around for fishing, but public launch access
is limited to Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. In 2011: Only
the launch at Lake Cushman Park is open in 2011. The Resort's
marina is open Memorial Day through Labor Day.*Please

Swimming and Picnicking: Lake Cushman Resort has a swimming area, grass
area for playing and picnicking with pedestal BBQ's and a viewing deck centrally located for your relaxation
and enjoyment. Floaties & picnic supplies are available in the
Resort store. (Register for Day Use & pay parking fee in the
store).*Please

Watercraft: 15' aluminum boats with 9.9 horse outboards,
pedal boats, four pair of one-person kayaks, one each
2-person kayak and 3 canoes are available for rent through the store, subject
to lake conditions (weather, lake level & debris).*Please see "Regulations"

Boat
Launch/Moorage: Lake
Cushman Resort has reserved moorage for your boat available
for a nominal fee. The Resort's gas dock is normally open from Memorial Day weekend
thru Labor Day. Due
to lake level changes, the Resort's boat launch is unavailable in 2011.
The lake's
public launch is located 2 1/2 miles from the Resort and is open from
Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day from 9am to 8pm..

& Nature Trails: Trail
heads located within 2 miles of the Resort. Please see Area

| Hunting:
The Resort is
in GMU 621 with 638 near by. |
